Cocksucker Blues

Not content with my not being able to see Tom Waits, well... not without stumping out some huge amount of cash on e-bay or the like, the ticket god deals me another duff hand... it seems that I can't get to the Tate's screenings of Robert Frank's "Cocksucker Blues" either, as it's all sold out... Which is irritating to discover when you're a Tate member, but hey ho! I've seen it before. Wouldn't mind seeing it again though as it is everything you expect being in the Rolling Stones is about. Well it probably isn't any more but this was 32 years ago!

The Franz Ferdinand album has just grown on me after a few months. That's odd!

I'm about to re-design this site again and incorporate the various other blogs I am updating less frequently these days. Which is most of them really! I'll try and do weekly updates for a while, which is a pity as the hits were on the up but I really don't have the time at the moment... And I want to do another re-design anyway!

Hey! Go and see Bill Bailey. Went to a warm up for the current leg of the tour, at the Pleasance Theatre and he was hilarious. Shillibeers next door is great too. Although reviews suggest they don't do food too well, there's a nice vibe to the place and they sell alcohol!
