I thought I might start putting some of the images I like on Britart.com up here. They had an affiliate program going through uk affiliates but that appears to have been dropped - Although Britart still has a link to them.I suspect that this just hasn't been updated though.
It's great idea but their communication is terrible. I've
e-mailed them a couple of times about using images/linking but never had a reply.
They would really benefit from having a stream like flickr. Although art isn't exactly something you would impulse buy - Well, depends how wealthy you are I suppose!
The image below is by Joe Clark. Clarke works exclusively at night rendering spaces in, quite literally, an unfamiliar light. This particularly reminds me of Edward Hopper's 1940 painting Gas... See below.
