Fear And Loathing In Colorado
February 21, 2005

Hunter S Thompson has been found dead at his home in Colorado.

Best known for his 1972 account of a drug-addled trip to Nevada, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Thompson pioneered "gonzo journalism", a factual style in which the writer was an essential part of the story...

Reports say he shot himself.

Fear And Loathing was illustrated by Ralph Steadman

Comments:
It was 1971 you fucking idiot.

I admit the events took place in 1971 and indeed appeared in Rolling Stone magazine in November of that year, but, you eloquent, anonymous twat, the book was published in 1972.
