Super Ringo?
January 27, 2005

Ringo Starr to be new Marvel Super Hero! So it says at the BBC - Thomas The Tank Engine not good enough for ya huh? There's also this story about Police accepting free tea and coffee, that's like something Chris Morris would come up with!

My AudioScrobbler is working at last - Stupidity on my part mostly... So when I get the new design up. Tonight hopefully. You'll all be able to see what I've been listening to. Actually you can now, HERE, but when I've finished the new pages my current Top 10 Listens will be fed in.

Then I hope to get the new store up and running the week after... I'm only going to sell the pictures through there now... I think... CD Baby will probably do a far better job of distributing the CDs and they'll get them onto iTunes etc as well!

Man Auctions Ad Space On Forehead
January 12, 2005

Story, from the BBC of Andrew Fischer. Who is auctioning his forehead as advertising space on e-Bay!!!

He has received 39 bids so far apparently, with the largest bid currently at more than $322. Which for the 30 days he intends to wear the temporary tattoo is an earning of $10.33 per day. He's planning to use the money to pay College fees... That should buy him a pen and some paper then!

Tags In The Clouds
January 10, 2005

I'm putting a load of stuff in del.icio.us, which means my mind is in this state [below] at present!

Off to see Whose Life Is It Anyway tonight at the Comedy Theatre, Kim Cattrall, which I guess won't be the bundle of laughs the name of the theatre suggests! And hope to get to the London Art Fair next week. I Tried to visit Punk at the Hospital on New Years Monday but it was shut, which there was no mention of it being on their website, so might try that again too...

And at the weekend I'm hoping that Simpson's, in Edgbaston, can out do Chez Bruce, where I went for my birthday, for culinary brilliance.

Happy New Year
January 04, 2005

picThis is having pride of place on the living room wall this year... It's called 00000101 and it's all my own work. Went to see Coffee and Cigarettes at last yesterday, which was good, if a bit patchy... Also saw Buffalo 66 on DVD this week too. Is there anything Vincent Gallo doesn't do? In this he acts directs and writes most of the soundtrack... The rest comprises of a bit of old Prog Rock, which, surprisingly, I quite liked... Especially Yes!!! God help me.

Popped in to Fopp Records and braved the crowds clamouring over their Five pound CD's [check the website to see what's on offer]... I got 4 of Tom Waits' back catalogue amongst other things. Tom has apparently taken a small role in director Tony Scott’s new movie, Domino, starring Keira Knightly, Mickey Rourke [who has a bit part in Buffalo 66] and Christopher Walken. Not that it sounds a particularly exciting film mind!

Still nothing unusual about Tom being in a movie... Now, Keith Richards playing Johnny Depp's [well Jack Sparrow's anyway] Dad in the next Pirates of the Carribean... Now that's something I'd like to see! They'll need subtitles!
