I had to put a link to these pictures of Gilles Barbier installation L'Hospice. Those Super Heroes must be getting on a bit now. via Boing Boing

And thanks to Diamond Geezer's post on the current exhibition of London maps at the British Library that I might otherwise have missed. Something to visit in the new year.

Interesting concept from Penguin. they have released 6 Classics with plain white art paper covers and are inviting readers to design their own covers and send them to the My Penguin Gallery.

Well everyone else is talking about them so I might as well too, despite the fact they've been around for 4 years! Gossip... and the fantastically monikered Beth Ditto, who has an awesome voice... and Guy Piccioto [Fugazi] has done them proud with the production on the Standing In The Way Of Control EP too. Right, I'm off to find their previous two albums. I like it when you find out about someone new and there is plenty to buy.
