Thought I better post something up here before the rest of the year slips by. Another sickly week passed after the last post and then Sam's birthday was upon us. And an evening at Bar Inigo. Of which, frankly, I remember very little! There are 40+ photos on my phone that I can't remember taking and The Ginger DJ has about 50-60 on his Flickr page that I have a vague recollection of trying to avoid being in! This is one I didn't avoid [left].

Well, it all went well by all accounts...Unless you were Paul & Sarah who were chucked out due to Paul wearing a hat! How mad is that? Apologies for not answering your texts sooner chaps but, well... same excuse as the photos really. I blame the £1 shooters. So that was the rest of the weekend wiped out and I think I've just about recovered now.

Interesting stuff afoot at Flickr. Check out this report on their new Camera Finder feature. From Mashable. And the Flickr London Map. Talking of mash[able]. I can't wait to try Mother Mash, just opened in Soho. Mmmash! Not to mention pie!

Oh yeah! Have a listen to How To Cure Dyslexia - It's that stuff they call Folktronica or something. Anyway, Little Else is a great tune, which reminds me a bit of Robert Wyatt, especially vocally.

I'm somewhat intrigued by the stories that the NHS are to prescribe addicts heroin! Not for the good of their health, but to cut crime... Apparently Home Office research showed heroin addicts commit 432 offences a year! What percentage is that of all crime in the UK annually I wonder? Are there drug cartels queueing up to tender for the contract for that one? How much will it cost? Will the NHS cut it with anything to make a quick profit? What will they do when one of their patients ODs on prescription heroin [sorry diamorphine] and their family sues???
