A Migratory Passage!

I've just merged my flickr account with my, until then dormant, Yahoo one and gone over to the Google side at Blogger...

All in one day! So far there's little noticeable difference at flickr, bar the odd log-in going to a Yahoo page. The Blogger pages I've passed on my way here already seem to be developing something of a kindergarten-s[m]urf quality though!

Blogger I may butch out... but flickr? Well, I'll be surprised if they don't implement changes enough to drive me off way before the 2 years I recently signed up to are done.

So... those artists I liked the look of at the last London Art Fair continues with...

First, another Ingleby Gallery artist... Winston Roeth. Whose tempera panel paintings are striking from a distance but up close play optical tricks drawing you further into colour and grids.

Secondly, Neil Canning. Whose works look to me like "drive-by painting". That's his "Brecon" top left. I like a lot of these works. They give the impression that they were done from a passing car [or two]... Which most people would probably consider a criticism!

If anyone is remotely bothered... Sam and I had an "unofficial" pinch/punch" contest last year. Which she won hands down!

Well, we've continued it this year... January, of course, is null and void. This is due to the staggering around at parties being kissy/huggy effect. Sam got first strike this morning and is now 1-0 up, in a best off 11, 2007 challenge.
