As I Was Saying...
June 20, 2007

rainy windowI know it's Glastonbury and Wimbledon this weekend but I'm getting really sick of this rain stuff.

Nearly there with the retrospective St.Lucia blog. I've been slightly sidetracked by popping over to Paris for the weekend and feeling like crap - Which meant I probably ruined Sam's weekend by being really grouchy [sorry].

On the upside, the news hounds on the South Coast [Kerry & Rob] are first with the latest on Underworld again and we now have tickets for the Roundhouse gig on October 17th.

A quick moan, that my Audiopod+ thingy hasn't been able to connect to the relevant server for bloody weeks... It reads what has been played on the Nano but just won't upload it to Last.fm. Grrr.

Not sure if I've got any better with the new camera [EOS 400D... Did I mention it?] after rattling off a load of shots over the weekend. I still seem to have over-exposure problems shooting against overcast skies. Guess that's me then... and not the camera!

Lots of stuff coming up. Underworld at Knebworth on the 30th. Got to get to Panic Attack at the Barbican [ends 9th September]. Would like to get tickets for the Becks Fusion Chemical Brothers/United Visual Artists fuse affair in Trafalgar Square, also on September 9th.

Then there's some stuff during London Architecture Week [15th -24th June] that I doubt I'll make it to but sounds worth a visit... Jason Bruges Wind to Light installation on the South Bank might be do-able but I dont think I'll find the time to get to The Sonic Shed Project, under the Westway, or the Hides In The Park, in Battersea Park.

Which just leaves the National Gallery's Grand Tour, interactive, art/geo/audio affair, which is also on until September-ish... And is a bloody good idea if you ask me!

I might get round to some retrospective Parisan posts... Oh yeah! I've got a lot of hyperlinks to add to these last few posts too.
