Monday Night Surfing
August 18, 2008 I see Fire Eagle is now available for us mortals to play with, so I've signed up and started looking at the apps. My Loki was my first stop and I'm going to try linking it up with the Navizon Virtual GPS on my phone... If it'll work. I'm sure it's all going to end up in another "Wish I had an N95" rant! Some other stuff I've surfed by this evening includes... Face Your Manga. This is supposed to be me! I've been listening to Radio 3's Between The Ears on iPlayer as well. "Symphonies Of Wind Turbines" is the latest episode. They make some weird noises those things. GMapGolf is a nifty idea... If you like golf! And Tickr. A timeline of Flickr images from a particular tag. I also spotted a Dipity link on Fire Eagle so I've signed up for that too. You can aggregate a timeline of your other sources, like Flickr, Last.FM, Blogger, YouTube, Twitter etc. Pretty cool actually! The map is a tad erratic but the timeline looks good. A lot of my stuff has been uploaded en masse and doesn't really reflect a proper timeline yet. Off to see Wall-e tomorrow.
