Adjust The Front Page!
September 02, 2008

Feeds DiagramHow's the new front page looking?

There's still a bit of work to be done on the re-vamp of the other pages, which I'll try and get done after I get back from Amsterdam.

I was hoping the pages would load faster without all the Flickr and Last.fm badges, but the Google and Amazon ads still seem to be causing a lag. I'll give them a while and maybe they'll go too. That Twitter badge takes an age to appear too. I need to re-do the Projects page as an about and re-work the maps page to a more neogeographic bent!

I'll be Checking In at Brightkite while I'm away and sending the odd Tweet, so there'll be a few updates on this page.

I've been playing with Gliffy to create the diagram above, which shows how the apps I am using at the moment are interlinked and highlighting a couple of gaps I'd like to fill. It's not very clear that size but you can follow the Gliffy link and see it there.

I'm trying Google Chrome out at the moment, but I can't see it drawing me away from Firefox. Amusingly it wouldn't let me upload the diagram above into Blogger, so I reverted to Firefox already!

Got a bit to write up about Cy Twombly yet and the profusion of netbooks that seem to be in the pipeline. The MiTac MiStation for instance. With it's added GPS.
