CrespelLast night we had our annual autumnal stagger round the The Affordable Art Fair, partaking of the free wine. This year we took Karol and Kev along with us and they ended up buying something! We knew we were getting there at 8.25 [I wrote it down and timed it!] when Karol called Mark and Lucy Luke and Marty!

Overheard "It just makes me Google intensely". I wonder what exactly.

Quite a few things caught my eye but I kept my wallet in my pocket. Among the temptations were...

Alice Scrutton at the Fairfax Gallery, Megan Fishpool at Artichoke Printmaking, Martin Procter at Marine House At Beer, Graham Gosling and Paul Smith at the Hayloft Gallery, Charles Langellier at Envie D'Art, Colin Brown at Panter And Hall, New British Artists Mick Dean and Emma Hill, Andrew Hasler's car enamel fish paintings at the Linda Blackstone Gallery, Margaret Knott at Wills Art.

Also the excellent Cedrix Crespel at La Galerie PetitJean, Sean Cotter at The Barbara Stanley Gallery, Tom Lewis at Park Art, Tim Garwood's Acrylics on Glass at the Alicia David Gallery, Clare Johnson, Kate Pellegrini, Tina Mammoser [who I am now following on Twitter], Carol Edgar and Jenny Wiggins at the Skylark Gallery and many brilliant works on the Brighton Printmaking stand, especially Helen Brown.

Wonder if it's done better than Frieze this year?
