Eat, Art, Out
February 22, 2009

Blimey, that week shot by. We have been out every night though... Yoga Monday, met Trev for beers on Tuesday, went to see April Ashley talk at the South Bank on Wednesday, 20|21 Art Fair at the Royal College Of Art on Thursday and caught up with Tony on Friday. Then spent all day Saturday finishing a new tune with Kev [to air at his and Karol's birthday party next weekend].

Not the way to getting an assignment ready for Tuesday is it?

Still I did get quite a bit done on Friday and I have caught up with a lot of folk this week. And my Notecards from Moo turned up. Five day turnaround and a very good job they are too.

The 20 | 21 Art Fair was a bit of a disappointment. The layout of the place wasn't great and it was way too hot in there to really enjoy. I didn't see anything much that took my fancy apart from Alban at the French Art Studio stand. His pieces are kind of hyperrealist Pop Art constructs... I think! And Oliver Winconek on the David Lilford stand. urban art on canvases.

What was the Botanist in Sloane Square called in a previous life? It's gone way up market since I was in there last. It looks great but the service was bit hit and miss in the bar and of course it's not cheap. Pulcinella on Old Compton Street is good value for money though.

Thanks again, Oliver Winconek
