Woo Hoo!!!
July 05, 2009

Well, after not being able to recall much of the Killers gig last week I made sure I paced myself for Blur. Slightly dissappointed that Friendly Fires didn't show [replaced by Golden Silvers] but glad to see the Foals and even enjoyed Crystal Castles. You'll have heard all the praise lavished on Blur's performance already. Suffice to say I woke up hoarse and with aching legs from bouncing up and down for a couple of hours.

But we got through Friday somehow and even managed to get along to Whirled Cinema for a Vicky Christina Barcelona. Which I enjoyed for more reasons than just Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson... Honest!

Saturday, we met Viv, Kev & Karol for lunch in Dulwich. Which, of course went on til dinner time. We had to head off to Brighton for a party at Paul & Sarah's, which the rest weren't attending so had to leave them to it. Good to catch up with Kerry & Rob, see James and Nix after a long time and to see a very tired Trev & Pom, straight off the plane from Thailand amongst others.

Some time Sunday afternoon we staggered out into the sunlight and headed home.
