Jazz Wine... Nice!
September 06, 2009

Today we are reading by the pool again and have a spot of lunch at the hotel. Sam has Calamari and I have an aubergine salad and we share an incredibly garlicky yoghurt dish.

In the evening we head off to Beyaz Gul, which is near Kosk and Caretta Caretta. We have spiced potato in filo pastry and cheesy mushrooms to start. Followed by spicy meatballs and lamb chops. One of the more expensive meals we’ve had but a beautiful restaurant, with no hassle on the door to come in and we later realise a third of the bill was actually the house wine, which was about 35TL. But another place we know we will visit again. It is also, apparently a tiny boutique hotel, which we will be looking into the price of. Even the jazz was bearable! Although their dog, “vodka” did sing along to one track. If only I could remember who it was by.
